We rescue small dogs with big hearts.  We are a non profit volunteer group that helps rescue and save Boston Terriers, Boston mixes and other small dogs, when resources permit, from kill shelters both locally and afar. We rescue locally and all around the country if our help is needed. Check out our Available Dogs page to see a current listing of dogs in need of homes that are waiting to be adopted.

If you can find it in your heart to give please click on  the Paypal donation button below.  If you are looking to adopt, we look forward to working with you to find your next family member.  We appreciate anything you can do to help our rescue continue to save these beautiful, loving dogs.

Friends of Homeless Animals (FOHA) is a Rhode Island based dog rescue organization, but assists dogs throughout New England and beyond.  FOHA is an approved tax exempt public charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. We are licensed by the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management / Division of Animal Health; License # 891/664.

PLEASE NOTE:
If we cannot get the dog you are interested in, your deposit is refunded. If you are not approved to adopt, your deposit is refunded.
IF YOU CHANGE YOUR MIND FOR ANY REASON, YOUR DEPOSIT IS NOT REFUNDED!
Normally we do not process applications unless you select a specific dog and make a deposit of $200 as we are all volunteers and limited resources – your deposit tells us you are serious and ready to adopt.
